The Successful Candidate

Roles available:

Qualified Teacher - preferably primary school and registered in NSW to teach.

Child Development Assistant - Ideally you have previous experience working in Vacation Care or currently enrolled in teaching at a tertiary institution.

  • Empathetic - Able to relate to and understand children's feelings and needs.
  • Reliable - Dependable and consistent, a trusted presence for students and colleagues.
  • Positive - Brings optimism and encouragement to the work environment.
  • Collaborative - Works well with other staff, and parents to support student growth.
  • Organised - Keeps activities, materials, and routines running smoothly.
  • Caring - Genuinely invested in the wellbeing and development of each child.
  • Playful - Enjoys having fun and connecting through games and activities.
  • Encouraging - Motivates children to try their best and celebrate their progress

What's the Role All About?

At Playcation NSW, no two days are the same - and that's exactly what makes it exciting!

Here's what you'll be getting up to:

  • Welcoming and supervising children aged 5-12, making sure they're safe, involved, and having an absolute blast.
  • Planning and leading awesome activities - from sports and creative arts to games, adventures, and everything in between.
  • Building meaningful connections with kids and their families, creating a warm and inclusive environment.
  • Being a key part of a supportive team, bringing energy, creativity, and positive vibes every single day.

When You'll Work:

The Playcation NSW Vacation Care program operates during both public and private school holidays. You can choose the days that suit you, Monday to Friday, as part of our School Holiday vacation Care Program. Typical shifts run from 8:30am to 3:30pm.
